On buses and commercial trucks, K001006N00 - LA8134 Air Dryer air dryer are mounted between the air compressor and the reservoir. They are made to filter away contaminated air and damp air before they may enter the vehicle's downstream pneumatic systems. Up to seven distinct brake and subsidiary circuits must receive the compressed air that the compressor produces before it is dried and cleaned. For these circuits to consistently meet the highest traffic safety requirements, up to three distinct pressure levels must be filled into them, and they must be protected against one another.
